This Privacy Policy (this "Policy") describes the personal information Transforming Billions ("Transforming Billions," "we," "us," or "our") collects, how we use and share it, and the rights you ("you" or "your") have.

This Policy forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Use. For any questions, contact us using the details at the end of this document.

1. Who We Are

Transforming Billions provides coaching, consulting, speaking, and related programs and events. In this Policy, the words "we," "us," and "our" refer to Transforming Billions and the websites, programs, and services we operate (collectively, the "Services"). We are the party responsible for the personal information described here.

2. The Information We Collect (Notice at Collection)

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to you. The categories below follow the statutory categories used in current U.S. privacy laws.

  • Identifiers. Your name, email address, phone number, and mailing or billing address.
  • Commercial information. Records of the programs or services you purchase, transaction dates, amounts, and payment history. Payments are handled by secure third-party processors; we do not store your full card number or bank account details on our systems.
  • Internet and network activity. Your IP address, device type, browser, operating system, the pages you view, how you arrived, how you navigate, and your interactions with our website and any automated assistant, collected through standard analytics.
  • Professional or business information. Where you choose to share them, your role, business, professional goals, and background.
  • Inferences and communications. The content of your messages, emails, texts, call notes, your responses to assessments, quizzes, applications, and questionnaires, your community posts, and the goals and challenges you voluntarily share.
  • Sensitive personal information. To the extent you choose to disclose deep personal reflections, beliefs, health context, or background details in your private coaching, vetting, or application forms, we treat this as sensitive information and use it only to provide the coaching and services you request.

We may also receive standard measurement data from providers such as Google or Meta to understand and improve our marketing. We do not buy personal profiles from data brokers.

3. How We Use Your Information
  • To respond to inquiries and provide the coaching, consulting, programs, sessions, courses, community access, and events you request.
  • To process payments, deposits, contributions, and invoices, and to keep required financial and tax records.
  • To communicate about scheduling, appointments, and your work with us, including by email and, with your consent, by text message.
  • To operate our community spaces and deliver course and program content.
  • To send marketing emails you have opted into, and to measure and improve our content and marketing.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Services and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies, Tracking Technologies, and Sharing

Cookies are small files placed on your device, and we and our providers also use web beacons and pixels. We use them in two main ways:

  • Functional. To keep the Services working, remember your preferences, and keep you signed in.
  • Analytics and advertising. To understand how the Services are used and, where you consent, to measure and deliver advertising. This may include tools such as Google Analytics and a Meta (Facebook) pixel, which may set their own cookies and collect usage data.

Sharing for cross-context advertising. When we use advertising or analytics tools that pass data to those networks for targeted marketing, this activity may be classified as "sharing" or "selling" under certain state privacy laws, even though we do not exchange your data for money. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Your control. Non-essential cookies and advertising pixels are not deployed until you accept them through our cookie banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings or by broadcasting a recognized opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control. Limiting cookies may affect some features.

5. Artificial Intelligence

We may use an automated assistant within the Services to answer questions and help direct you. If we do, you will be told clearly that you are interacting with an automated assistant and not a live person. We do not use your conversations with the assistant to train artificial intelligence or large language models. We do not sell or share your personal information, communications, or submissions to any third party for the purpose of training their artificial intelligence, and we do not permit the Services or your submissions to be scraped for that purpose.

We do not use artificial intelligence to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

6. Text Messages (SMS)

If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may contact you by text message. This may include appointment reminders, scheduling, and direct communication related to your work with us. Message and data rates may apply, and frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. SMS consent and phone numbers will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

7. Payments and Contributions

Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers and may be made by various methods, including but not limited to cards, PayPal, bank or wire transfer, and digital wallet or cryptocurrency options. The specific terms for any program, including deposits and payment schedules, are set out in your individual agreement with us.

Contributions offered in support of our work are voluntary and non-refundable, and are not connected to the purchase of any program or service.

8. Community Spaces

We offer community spaces and group programs in which members may view content, post, and message one another. Anything you share in a community space may be visible to other members. Please do not share information you would not want others to see. You are responsible for what you post, and you interact with other members at your own risk.
Our community spaces may be hosted on third-party platforms, which have their own privacy terms that also apply to your use of those spaces.

9. Recordings

We may record one-on-one sessions, group calls, and program sessions for our own notes, to support your work with us, and to create educational content. We will tell you when a session is being recorded. By joining a group coaching call or program session that is being recorded, you consent to being recorded. If you prefer not to appear, you may keep your camera and microphone off and participate through other means where available.
For any recording we share publicly or sell, we use only content featuring us together with de-identified questions or material, unless a participant gives written permission to appear. In group settings, we take reasonable steps to limit capturing other participants. We retain recordings only as long as necessary for our business, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes, after which they are deleted.

10. How We Share Information
  • With service providers acting on our behalf, such as payment processors, scheduling, email, hosting and infrastructure, analytics, community, assessment and program tools, and video providers, who may use it only to provide their service to us.

Some tools we use within our programs are operated by third parties and are governed by their own privacy terms, which also apply to your use of those tools.

  •  With professional advisors, such as our accountant or attorney, when reasonably needed.
  • When required by law, such as a valid legal request or court order, or to protect our rights and safety.
  • In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or sale, in which case your information passes to the successor under the same protections.
  • As aggregated or de-identified data that no longer identifies you, which we may use or share for any lawful purpose, such as research or improving our Services, content, and offerings.
11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights below. We honor these rights for residence of all U.S. states that grant them and extend the core rights to all users as a matter of practice:

  • Access. Confirm whether we process your data and request a copy.
  • Correct. Ask us to delete your personal information.
  • Delete. Ask us to delete your personal information, subject to our need to retain certain records for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.
  • Opt out. Opt out of targeted advertising and of any sale or sharing of your data (we do not sell your personal information), and of certain automated profiling with significant effects.
  • Limit sensitive data. Ask us to limit use of any sensitive information.
  • No discrimination. We will not deny services or change your pricing for exercising these rights.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a recognized opt out signal, such as Global Pprivacy Control, we treated as a valid request to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal data.

To exercise any right, contact us. You may also unsubscribe for marketing emails using the link in any email we send, and opt out of texts by replying STOP.

12. International Users (GDPR, UK GDPR, and Swiss FADP)

Our business is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored there. Where applicable data protection law requires it, we process your personal information on one or more of the following legal bases: to perform our contract with you, to pursue our legitimate business interests, to comply with a legal obligation, or based on your consent. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under applicable data protection law, including the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. By using the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

13. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adults eighteen (18) and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen (13), or under sixteen (16) in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

14. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes, after which we delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable safeguards, including secure connections and limited access. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take protection seriously and will notify affected users and authorities of a significant data breach as required by law.

15. Third-Party Links

The Services may link to other websites and services we do not control. This Policy applies only to our own Services. Please review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

16. Intellectual Property

All content, frameworks, and methodologies on the Services are our proprietary intellectual property. The full terms governing ownership, trademarks, confidentiality, and permitted use are set out in our Terms of Use.

 17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. If we make material changes to how we handle your personal information, we will provide notice by posting a prominent notice on our website or by email before the change takes effect. The revised version will show an updated Effective Date at the top, and your continued use of the Services after it takes effect indicates your acknowledgment of the updated Policy.
